12/1- MOPA Photography Challenge (4th Grade)

The 4th graders of Ms. Marsh and Ms. Storrier's attended a BMX Assembly in the morning for anti-bullying. After, students worked in groups of 2-4 to take photographs that best exemplified sound for a contest by the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA). MOPA graciously provided digital cameras and a printer for students.  Below are examples of photos students took.

12/1- Photography Challenge (After School Program)
13 students attended this session. The goal was for students to take photographs that best exemplified sound for a contest by the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA). I was able to print out the photos for these students which they enjoyed! 





12/15- Code.org (1st Grade)
The 1st graders from Ms. Cesena and Ms. Eslinger's attended a schoolwide Christmas sing-a-long in the morning. After, students worked on Kodable, a introductory computer programming game where students practiced being programmers to write sequences of code to help the puffball escape the maze.





12/15-  Code.org (After School Program)
15 students attended this session. The goal was for students to practice their computer programming by completing an "Hour of Code" program on Minecraft.
